>> Discovery voted this as THE BEST theme park of the WORLD! WHOA,I so want to go there!!

Universal Studios, is one of the six major American movie studios. Its main motion picture production company is called Universal Pictures. Its production studios are located in almost every country in the world. The company spread its wings into many branches of business but the one branch which is perhaps the most exhilarating of all, is the group of theme parks that they own. They are situated in three places across the world: Orlando, Hollywood and Japan.
Universal Orlando Resort is the place where two of the greatest theme parks of the world are situated. Discovery channel has named Universal Studios Orlando as the BEST theme park in the world. And why wouldn’t it be?
Universal Studios Florida is an amusement park located in Orlando, Florida. It was inaugurated on June 7, 1990. The park deals with the entertainment industry in particular movies and television. The park is ONE component of the larger Universal Orlando Resort. In 2008, the park hosted an estimated 6.23 million guests, ranking it the fifth-most visited theme park in the United States, and #7 in the world. Over the years, Universal Studios Florida has not limited itself to attractions based on its own vast film library. It has occasionally licensed popular characters from other rival studios, many of whom did not operate theme parks themselves. Some examples include the Ghostbusters and the Men in Black (from Sony's Columbia Pictures), Jimmy Neutron (from Viacom's Nickelodeon), The Simpsons (20th Century Fox), and Shrek (from DreamWorks Animation).
Universal's Islands of Adventure is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida. It opened on May 28, 1999. The park's overall theme is the fascinating journey of exploration, where guests depart from a main port on an "inland sea" to visit five "islands," each having its own distinct theme, but all emphasizing fun and adventure. In 2007, Islands of Adventure hosted approximately 5.3 million guests, ranking it #9 among United States parks and #15 among all parks worldwide. The park played a perfect host to quite a few hits like the Incredible Hulk and the Jurassic Park. On May 31st 2007, it was officially announced by the Universal group that they have secured the rights from Warner Bros. and J.K Rowling to bring the world of Harry Potter to Islands of Adventure. The 20 acre land will feature the Hogsmeade village, the forbidden forest and the majestic Hogwarts castle. And these are not just huge set-ups like in other film cities; they are even shops where tourists can purchase souvenirs and other merchandise like the Hog’s head, Zonko’s, Three Broomsticks, Dervish and Banges, The owlery, Hagrid’s hut, Honeydukes, Filch’s emporium of confiscated goods and a lot more…This part of the theme park is set to open in the spring 2010.
